Earthquake hits Baghdad and a number of provinces

Alsumaria News / Baghdad The
capital Baghdad and a number of provinces of Iraq, after midnight, to a tremor felt by most residents of those areas.

The Iraqi capital Baghdad, the provinces of Kirkuk, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, Dahuk, Diyala, some areas of Salah al-Din, Karbala and the outskirts of the holy city of Najaf and Babylon were hit by a tremor that lasted for a very short time.

Our correspondent pointed out that the quake did not cause any casualties or material damage.

For its part, media sources said that the earthquake in those areas in Iraq was a shock as a result of an earthquake hit the cities of western Iran by 6.2.

Residents of Iranian cities rushed to the streets as a result of the earthquake.
