The newspaper "Middle East" quoted an official Iraqi source, what she said was hidden last moments, and that «was planned to join the Sunni forces representing the coalition of Iraqi forces, after the stream of wisdom refused to join the Arab project leader and leader of the National Axis Alliance Khamis Khanjar to the new alliance , Meeting at the Hotel Babel, which was held in the presence of Sadr and Abadi, Hakim and Saleh al-Mutlaq », noting that« developments took place in the last minute in Erbil prevented the arrival of a section of them to Baghdad, despite pressure exerted by US envoy Brett McGurk on some of them, especially parties to the Alliance of forces, On the non-fragmentation of the PI Sunni representative national axis. » The source added that McGurk «put a private plane at their disposal to move from Erbil to Baghdad to participate in the meeting».

According to the source, who asked not to mention his name and identity, «this was one of the reasons that led to the postponement of the announcement of the formation of the largest bloc and replace it with the nucleus of the largest bloc in addition to cancel the press conference that was scheduled to make a statement stressing the continuation of dialogues during the period Coming to complete the formation of this bloc ».

The Kurdish leader Massoud Barzani, met Sunday, a delegation of high-alliance «national axis» headed by Sheikh Khamis Khanjar, in the resort of Salahuddin near Erbil.

A statement issued by President Barzani's office  said that he discussed the political process in Iraq and the formation of the new Iraqi government, taking advantage of past experiences and mistakes in the field.

In the meantime, while the alliance «Saron» in the formation of a government capable of falling to the level of challenges, the masses of the «conquest» led by Hadi Amiri and «the rule of law» announced the largest mass to date.

The Democratic Party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the National Axis demanded the largest bloc to make written commitments and guarantees and not to repeat the experiences of violating the constitution. The three parties said in a joint statement after the end of their meeting in Erbil on the evening of the day before yesterday that «the political offices of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan met with the leadership of the National Axis Alliance, to study talks to strengthen the federal authorities and mechanisms to achieve the largest bloc in order to mature the common vision of the political program And the government for the next stage ».

"The Kurdish side stressed the need for the next government to abide by the provisions of the constitution and to work together to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past, such as marginalizing the constitution, blocking the region's financial share, not paying the dues of the Peshmerga forces," said Hareem Kamal Agha, a deputy in the Iraqi parliament and leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. Of the commitments relating to the constitutional rights of the territory, and the views of the two parties have been consistent with the issues that have been raised for discussion ».

The leader of the coalition of Iraqi forces Mohammed Karbouli told Asharq Al-Awsat that "our agreement with the Kurds reflects a common vision among us to overcome the negative aspects of the past, and therefore we are not in a hurry to enter into a party at the expense of another party without guaranteeing our rights and demands. "The Kurds and the Sunnis are also not rushing this time because they see that the meetings that took place in Baghdad could get fragmented here and there, which we do not want to be in a volatile political mood for external and internal reasons." "We want to build a state on the right foundations, while there are those who think of taking power only, an approach that we paid for the last period," Taha said.
