Former MP of the coalition «State of Law» Abdul Salam al-Maliki on the smuggling of 25 thousand barrels of oil Basra daily by small vessels across the sea to unknown destinations.

Maliki said in a press statement that Prime Minister Haider Abadi and executive bodies are required to open an investigation on the sale of Iraqi oil by Mafiyat, parties and political figures with small boats belonging to other political parties. Noting that the amount estimated at 25 thousand barrels per day belonging to political parties », adding that
« the Ministry of Oil is completely unable to stop these operations and other operations, and this amount of crude oil smuggled to unknown destinations ».
