Post by Ponee on Wed Aug 08, 2018 3:25 pm

BAGHDAD / The Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday the agreement with its Jordanian counterpart to resume the movement of trucks between the two countries.
"The agreement was part of Iraq's approach to opening up the work, activating all agreements with neighboring countries and activating the movement of economic exchange across all border crossings," a ministry statement said.
The statement pointed out that "the capital Amman witnessed several meetings between the parties (Iraqi and Jordanian), which resulted in the drawing of the road map to allow the trucks of the two countries to cross in both directions in light of the provisions of Article 10 of the Transport Agreement signed between the parties on 26 August 2009, Taribil border, especially after the establishment of security in the western region.
