The United Nations said more than 10,000 children were killed and maimed by armed conflicts in the world in 2017, while 1036 children were reported to have been detained in Iraq on international security issues.

The World Organization said in an annual report entitled 'Children and Armed Conflict', it detected 21 thousand violation of children's rights, which is a significant increase compared to the previous year.
The United Nations has accused the Saudi-led Arab coalition of at least half the number of child deaths and injuries in Yemen, and is concerned about the recruitment of children into the conflict.

The report pointed out that one of the most dangerous countries for children in the world are Iraq, Myanmar, Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen. He confirmed that nearly half of the 811 cases of child deaths in Nigeria resulted from terrorist attacks, and used children in some as' , And detained more than 1900 children in this country on suspicion of links to their relatives or the group 'Boko Haram' hard.

The World Organization also recorded the detention of 1036 children in Iraq on issues related to international security, while at least 1221 children were recruited by the conflict in southern Sudan.

In Somalia, the UN report recorded the abduction of more than 1,600 children by militants of the extremist al-Shabaab movement, some of whom were detained while others were sexually assaulted.

The report stressed that government forces in different countries bear responsibility for about nine thousand violations of the rights of children in the world.
