The coalition of , on Monday, his insistence on the nomination of his leader Haider Abadi, to assume the post of prime minister of Iraq, for a second session.

The coalition today, its sixth periodic meeting under the chairmanship of outgoing Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Abadi.

The coalition said in a statement (Basneoz), that «was during the meeting to discuss the progress of talks and political blocs and progress and move forward the draft political victory coalition in addition to the general situation in the country and the demands of citizens and the government's response to them».

The members of the bloc agreed on «their adherence to the coalition of victory and its national project», stressing the «importance of accelerating the formation of the government and the interest of citizens and fight corruption in all its forms».

The statement pointed to the coalition's adherence to his candidacy for the presidency of the next government, stressing that the coalition «Victory» «cross-sectarianism and consider in his talks interest of Iraq and all components», according to the statement.

The leader of the National Alliance, Abdullah al-Zaidi, has revealed recently, the existence of nine candidates for the post of prime minister, in the new Iraqi government.

Al-Zaidi told Basnews that there are 9 names proposed by the winning blocs for the post of prime minister, but they refuse to reveal them in the media. They also stressed the other powers not to reveal them during the current period.

The  leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr , surprised his opponents and political partners to put 32 conditions in the controls that must be provided to achieve a political alliance qualified to form the next government, and 40 conditions to choose the appropriate person for the post of prime minister.

One of the most prominent conditions of the chest must be provided in the candidate for prime minister not to double nationality, which implies the exclusion of the current Prime Minister, and the strongest candidates Haider Abadi, who holds British citizenship. He also stipulated that the head of government must be outside the House of Representatives, and is fluent in more than one language, and not subject to foreign pressure. To be good and not corrupt, and to end the interference of the party in the government and its institutions.
