(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili said the possibility of preparing a supplementary budget because of the lack of a meeting of the House of Representatives.

"The ministry is working at a high rate in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and other ministries and local governments in the provinces to provide the necessary financial coverage to support the projects of services in all governorates within the framework of the Ministry of Finance and other ministries and local governments in the provinces," Al-Jumaili said. The budget law for the year 2018 and to ensure the completion of projects with high achievement rates, especially education projects, water, electricity and road and sewerage and in accordance with the directives of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, which represents a real response to the demands of citizens.

Jumaili called on local governments in the provinces to "identify the projects that can be accomplished within the financial allocations available, whether through the investment programs of the ministries or the project of development of regions or petrodollar." "The priority is education, health, water, sewage, electricity and roads."

He pointed out that "Baghdad and the rest of the provinces will receive an increase in their annual allocations in the framework of the government's efforts to provide services and move projects stalled, which means providing more employment opportunities for young people."

For his part, called on the federal government to "give Baghdad extraordinary attention as the capital, which is the largest population density between the provinces, .. noting that the capital {Center and parties} need additional financial allocations, as well as the launch of suspended allocations to achieve projects stalled in various sectors Including hospitals, schools and water and sewage projects that could move if appropriate allocations were made, "he said.

He pointed out that "there are a number of important projects that require action, especially in the areas of the parties, some of which are seriously damaged as a result of terrorist acts."
