Gulf newspaper, reported that the people of the city of Mosul , sent a letter to Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, while noting that a member of the Council of Nineveh "royalty" in Mosul , has become commonplace.

"The situation in Mosul prompted the residents of the city to address Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi, to help them get rid of the practices of some security elements," Al-Arabi newspaper said in a report. "The letter included that it is not hidden to you (Abadi) Provided by the security forces heroine in the battle for the liberation of Mosul, as you are not aware of the magnitude of the sacrifices made by the people of Mosul, who paid blood and money to liberate their city from the clutches of a calling organization.

"The most important reasons for the fall of Mosul, however, were the ill-treatment and the behavior of some security officers, as well as the financial extortion practiced at the time," they said, adding that "all these issues caused a wide gap between the security forces And the people of Mosul, even happened, in reference to the fall of the city, however, urging the middle of 2014.

He warned the people of Mosul "a great tragedy and very frightening if the treatment is not quick to what is happening in Mosul."

The newspaper quoted a member of the Nineveh Council, who declined to be named, that "the subject of royalties in Mosul has become normal," pointing out that "Mosul fell victim to the political movement to form a government."

On July 10, 2017, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced the victory and the liberation of Mosul from the headquarters of the anti-terrorist operations in the city. However, the city still suffers from a severe lack of services and slow reconstruction of infrastructure destroyed by the liberation operations.
