The head of the General Company for Electricity Distribution in Baghdad and Mohammed Al-Mayahi said on Thursday that the production of electricity in the national electricity system arrived on Thursday 19 July 2018 to 15900 megawatts. ).

Al-Mayahi said in a statement to the twilight news that this figure is the highest output achieved by the Ministry of Electricity since its establishment, after the introduction of new generating units to the electricity system.

He added that the hours of processing power in the areas of service and collection in the capital Baghdad has reached (20) hours per day, and other areas exceeded (12) hours, pointing out that the production of this system of electricity has been achieved from the generating stations belonging to the ministry after the suspension of import lines Iran.
