The President of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim that the government preparations for the events in Iraq reassuring and the level of ambition, noting that the government team made a reassuring offer and answered all the questions and queries of deputies.
"There is no cause for concern or panic about the security situation in the country," Al-Ghanim said.
"There is no need to worry or panic, but there is a need for precaution, readiness and readiness for any emergency, especially in Kuwait. We have experienced a bitter experience during the invasion," he said.
Al-Ghanim stressed that "it is our duty as deputies to reassure the people of Kuwait about the readiness of government agencies to face any emergency or future and prepare for the worst of the possibilities, and we hope not to talk," noting that "we do not interfere in the internal affairs of Iraq and there is full government coordination with him, Stability and the absence of any repercussions affect us in Kuwait. "
"We do not want to give the subject more than its size, but at the same time we should be prepared for all possibilities and the government has assured us that there is no security or military threat from the Iraqi side despite preparations," he said.
"The government responded to parliamentary inquiries in the event of a worsening situation inside Iraq and the chaos and the possibility of the presence of displaced Iraqis, saying that coordination with the international organizations concerned to address this matter was taken precautionary measures."
