Shafaq News / Prime Minister Haider Abadi on Tuesday to the possibility of extension of financial and administrative corruption rampant in the joints of the Iraqi state to the judiciary.

"The elimination of financial and administrative corruption in Iraq requires an intelligence effort," Abadi said at his weekly conference after meeting with his government team of ministers in Baghdad.

"I call on the judiciary to make an effort to pursue the corrupt and prevent the spread of corruption to its institutions."

On the security issue, Abadi said that "the differences within Syria threaten the return of activity and a dangerous threat to the border with Iraq."
