Deals include a new contract and existing extensions

Petrofac have sealed a new contract and extensions to existing contracts in Iraq worth in excess of $110million. The deals involve construction management, engineering, commissioning and start-up services for International Oil Companies.

Managing Director Mani Rajapathy expressed the company's satisfaction at extending their portfolio in Iraq as part of their growth strategy. He also added “These contract extensions and additional contract award from major international oil companies further enhance our position, where our focus remains on operational excellence, the development of local resources, and safe project execution.”

I think this is just one more sign of Iraq's slow but steady forward toward the future.
