"The Kurds will go to Baghdad with a united delegation to demand their rights," said a member of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Kader, on Monday.

A statement issued by the Patriotic Union said that Kader received on Monday the Political Affairs Officer of the British Consulate in Arbil, Sarah Marsh, and the delegation accompanying her, where a governor thanked the British government for its role in the war against terrorism and its support for the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan and wished more relations and cooperation between the two sides. .

As for efforts to form a new government, Kader explained that "the Kurds will go to Baghdad with a unified delegation," stressing that "the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is keen to ensure constitutional rights in Baghdad, including Article 140 of the Constitution and the requirements of the Peshmerga forces."

He pointed out that "the Kurdish parties do not have any agreement with the parties that won the election to form a new government," adding that "the talks are still ongoing."
