Shafaq News / Sunni forces reached a meeting on Saturday evening to select a unified negotiating team on the formation of the government and the benefits of the next phase.

The leaders and leaders of a number of Sunni blocs held a meeting this evening in the house of outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri on Saturday.

"The blocs discussed the current political situation in the meeting and the ways to get into a space that supports the understandings and strengthens the dialogue in order to bring the views closer and develop common visions on the next stage within the national framework," the statement said.

"During the meeting, the results of the parliamentary elections, the accompanying incidents and problems, the procedures of counting and sorting, and their importance in restoring confidence in the electoral process and forming a national government with no doubts were discussed," the statement added.

The statement revealed that "it was agreed to proceed with unified perceptions with a number of political blocs and entities, to reach agreements on the requirements of the next phase and the formation of a strong government includes all able to cope with crises and problems."
