The leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr stressed on Thursday that the alliances to form a new Iraqi government "fair".

"We will not allow Iraq to be managed from behind the border to the north or south to the east or to the west," Sadr wrote in a tweet.

He added that "Iraq will be run by Iraqi national and exclusive, and alliances and fair cross-quota."
