Newspaper: More than 45 deputies traveled to different countries with tickets without return

Monday 2 July

Alsumaria News / Baghdad
Newspaper revealed that the Gulf, more than 45 deputies traveled to various countries with tickets without return, attributed the reason to fear some of them to pursue files of corruption after the lifting of immunity from them.

"A number of parliamentarians have pre-empted the parliament's declaration officially ending its life and have left the country," the official Al-Arabi newspaper quoted an official source as saying, citing the reason for "fear of corruption files that may pursue them after the lifting of their immunity."

The source, who asked not to be named, said that "last week saw the travel of about 45 deputies from different blocs, have paid only tickets without return," noting that "the deputies traveled to different countries, including Iran , Turkey , Egypt and other countries , Some of whom were preceded by their families. "

"There is no prohibition against any traveling MPs," he said.

On June 30, 2018, a well-informed source uncovered leaks of the arrest warrants issued against the deputies soon.

A number of lawmakers are facing lawsuits in the courts on various charges, most notably "defamation and defamation".
