Pentagon: attack on US advisers on the Syrian-Iraqi border
 

A spokesman for the US Defense Department, Adrian Rankin-Galloway, said that a force from the Revolutionary Commanders Army (a Syrian faction backed by Washington) and US advisers were attacked Thursday evening by an unidentified force within the area of reducing tension in the Tunnel. The Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border, which required the response by force in self-defense. 

The spokesman said in a statement that there were no casualties, and revealed that officials of the leadership of the International Alliance contacted their Russian counterparts in Syria, through channels to reduce tension, to ensure that no repeat of any similar error in the future. 

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced the killing of a Syrian soldier and at least seven wounded Thursday night in a raid by the coalition on a military site in the area of Al-Tanf. 

He added that the military point that was targeted was only 20 kilometers from Al-Tanf area.

This is exactly what happens when the U.S. gets involved in other country's foreign policies- They don't want the U.S. meddling in their business, and everyone wonders why they get pissed off-They think they can handle their problems without outside interference- If these other countries want to blow up and kill each other, let 'em do it, who are we to buck a trend that's been going on for centuries?-Think about this for a minute- What if the foreign countries came to the U.S. to tell us how we should run things and dictate to us how we should take care of the issues here? How long do you think this country would still be in one piece? You would be pissed off too, wouldn't you?
