The Central Bureau of Statistics that the capital Baghdad ranked first on Iraq in the amount of orange production during 2018, noting that the census did not include the Kurdistan region and some provinces because of the security situation in them.

The Directorate of Agricultural Statistics of the Agency in a report by the Iraqi Economic Center that the capital Baghdad ranked first in the amount of orange production in 2018 and more than 3500 tons, followed by Diyala province about 2000 tons, followed by Wasit and 1500 tons.


Baghdad also occupied the first place with the production of the amount of about 600 tons, followed by the province of Diyala with 400 tons followed by Wasit and 350 tons.
