PostSubject: "A Gas Station's Operator's Guide to the RV" by Fireswan 1/2/18   Tue Jan 02, 2018 2:57 pm

I woke up this morning with an image of giving gas station operators a stack of business cards with information about Tank's lawsuit on them.

Tank's lawsuit is so simple, and so straightforward that the jist of it could be understood on a business card.

We recently did a campaign like this locally to elect a more compassionate and neighborhood-aware City Council. On business cards. To gas station operators and coffee shop owners. Here's how this went:

In my area, we were hard hit by flooding in 2013. People whose homes flooded are still recovering four years later. FEMA did not provide enough support for recovery. Insurance companies found loopholes to not pay damages. In our area much of the flooding came from groundwater seeping up into basements, not from surface water pouring in through doors and windows. FEMA doesn't cover groundwater surges, only flooding that comes in on the surface. Homeowner's insurance doesn't cover flooding, there had to be a separate policy for that. If there was one, it didn't cover ground water. None of them covered damage to contents, only structures. You get the picture.

The blame and cost was shifted to homeowners.

It would be very simple to tie Tank's lawsuit to being a solution for those still suffering using the same approach. We already got the City to buy and refurbish a trailer park hurt by the flood.

Gas station-by-gas station we could distribute stacks of business cards. The business cards could be appropriate for the neighborhood. In our neighborhood, we could tie Tank's lawsuit to being the solution for those still suffering from the flood, with a picture of the flood damage on the back side (just as we did for the City Council election). Every neighborhood in the world has some local issue that could be solved by RV money (or by a lawsuit, should performance continue to be held back to prevent lawsuits). The gas station operators could hand these business cards out. The curious could go to the lawsuit website and ask questions and get involved. The gas station operators could become education experts.

Awareness would explode.

A few stacks of business cards would be all it would take.

Just sayin...

Maybe, while you're at the gas station, take the 'HIGH TEST' pump nozzle and cram it in YOUR filler tube-Maybe you'd explode while having a cigarette, then you'd be a total 'flamer'- flame sarcastic Mad
