Time for New Beginnings

Taylor Addison, Blue Mountain Arts, 1989

"This is a time for reflection as well as celebration.

As you look back on the past year and all that has taken place in your life,

Remember each experience for the good that has come of it

and for the knowledge you have gained.

Remember the efforts you have made and the goals you have reached.

Remember the love you have shared and the happiness you have brought.

Remember the laughter, the joy, the hard work, and the tears.

And as you reflect on the past year, also be thinking of the new one to come.

Because most importantly, this is a time of new beginnings and the celebration of life."

I am doing nothing different for new years this year from the last 2 years, but somehow...this year it feels different...i strangely "feel" change for the coming year...like a clam assurance, encouraging, knowing, intuition...things are about to change...in more ways than one...imo

With our focus on Iraq, Iran is in the background making some serious noise. And not even a peep from North Korea right now.

What will happen with Iran? Will the Regime try to crack down on the protests or is that too late as it may have grown to a size the Mullahs cant handle? Sounds like Kohmanie is throwing Arm-n-Hammer under the bus just to save what is left of the old school way of thought.

Lets imagine the regime collapsed? Who or what will take its place? It will be the most fragile time for a country as they will have no authority structure....which allows someone to hustle the masses to achieve their own agenda. What would happen to the Republican Guard? Roundup? Would they just vanish and reappear in other countries at a later time?

The IQD and USD that Maliki and Company sent over there.....where did it go?

Right now it looks like the current regime has options, and one of them is not what was has been going on for so long. Every organisation has to adapt or it just does not survive.

So if the Mullahs want to stick around in a position of authority, there are going to be some changes. One of them, and its a long shot in my opinion, a separation of church and state. Because its whats causing the problem. We can already see changes in Sharia Law, women are allowed to show faces and are now allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia.

Its a new day and age, Iraq was brought to the future, perhaps its Iran's turn now. But in the meantime.....keep an eye on North Korea, Venezuela and Libya....these are the three countries that need serious change in short order. IMO, of course

"Iran's exports to Iraq have doubled 17 times over the past decade," Zadeh said during a joint meeting of the Council for Dialogue and Exchange of Opinion with Iran's economic activists.

He pointed out that "technical and engineering services, cars, foodstuffs and dairy products constituted a significant part of exports," pointing out "the tourist side and the reception of Iranian cities by Iraqi tourists throughout the year." On the other hand, Iranian and Iraqi businessmen held their first meeting at the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad, attended by the President of the General Union of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, the heads of the Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, the Federation of Industries and the Iraqi Investment Committee, as well as a group of Iraqi businessmen, investors and representatives of companies. Iran, which is active in Iraq.

The representatives of the Iranian and Iraqi industry and trade stressed the need to take advantage of the opportunities to develop bilateral relations and lift the obstacles, in addition to the need to promote joint investments in all fields, facilitate visa procedures between the two countries and put an end to restrictive trade laws and fulfill financial obligations on the Iraqi side towards companies Iran.

The ambassador of Iran to Baghdad, Erj Musjidi, the need to take advantage of the possibilities available to develop trade and investment between the two countries, "adding that" he informed the Iraqi side on the problems related to visas and the need to cancel visas between the two countries to facilitate the travel of citizens and businessmen and investors. " To develop trade and economic relations between the two countries, "pointing out" the establishment of a free trade zone in Khorramshahr and other in Abadan to make room for Iraqi investors. "

"The increase in the volume of trade exchange during the short period is due to the transformation of Iraqi commercial transactions to what the industry, agriculture and energy sector in Iran believe, especially after the deterioration of the security situation in northern Iraq and the West by the control of gangs, Of the land and affected the transportation routes between Iraq and Turkey, Syria and Jordan. " "Each country has a specific specialization in production, and this subject is determined by the consumer, where the trade in agricultural crops is the share of Iran and Syria," she said.
