Commander of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi , on Thursday, that the organization "Daash" will end militarily "soon", while he stressed that the security challenge requires "intensifying the intelligence effort and cooperation citizen" with the security system.
"The Prime Minister, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abbadi, presided over a meeting of the National Cell of the Intelligence Coordination Council," the Prime Minister's Office said in a press statement. "We need more cooperation in the coming period," he said, referring to "supporting this effort to provide security for citizens."
On Friday, November 3, 2017, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Haidar al-Abadi, announced that Iraqi forces would regain control of al-Qaim district from the grip of the "Daash" organization in a "record period".
