Revealed the decision of the Finance Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives Ahmed Haji Rashid, on Thursday, that "200 thousand" people receive pensions, illegal, and considered the problem suffered by the government of the Territory as "management of money" and not bankruptcy, Received "100 trillion" dinars within 10 years.

Rashid said in a press statement received by Alsumaria News a copy of it, "200 thousand people in the province of Kurdistan receive pensions in an illegal manner," pointing out that "430 thousand armed men receive salaries in the name of the Peshmerga, as well as the transfer of 960 people to retire in special degrees, They did not exercise government duties. "

Rashid added that "what the Kurdistan Regional Government is suffering is the problem of managing the money and not the bankruptcy." He explained that "during the period 2005 2015 more than 100 trillion dinars entered the Kurdistan region, and that if these funds were disbursed to develop the infrastructure we were not facing the current problems "He said.

Rashid said that "the result of the entry of large sums of money to the region has been a wave of appointments in the region significantly," pointing out that "the proportion of 67% of the applicants in 2005 were their certificates without primary."

The Kurdistan region suffers from a financial crisis since 2014 caused the delay in payment of salaries of staff and significantly reduced, while officials attribute the region's causes of the crisis to the outstanding problems between Baghdad and Erbil and the fall in oil prices.
