It’s not going to be taxed as capital gains despite what anyone else may have told you…it’s not.  This is going to be an ordinary tax event.  The reason why is because you did not buy this under contract with a specific date for return therefore you don’t qualify for the blessings of being a true forex trader and the IRS already said…no.  So don’t even consider someone else’s idea on this cause quite frankly guys you’re only setting yourself up for problems.  And if you were to file a tax return showing it as capital gains but identifying what it is, I can assure you you’re going to get snagged. So don’t do it.

you are full of shit according to the IRS web site anything above $200 made on a investment regardless if it is money market or stock's, CD's ect.. is taxable as CAPITAL GAIN. I know what they guys on here is going to commit it not what you make off it or how much. I totally agree with the author.. this will not be a tax event or an income producing event.. 

Since the entire RV/GCR fantasy was pumped-up, based on fiction & lies packaged & delivered by a group of known criminals, grifters and non licensed MLMers.

The real question should be can you claim your loss when you sell to another sap on ebay, or is it added of your home as a capital improvement when you paste to your bathroom walls years from now when you realize there's no value after the lop & reissue of the next new currency.

Best case, maybe your grand kids can claim the currency as a gift if they ever get the opportunity to visit Iraq or Vietnam and use for spending money around town.    

However, the #IRS.gov might have the answer for those involved with money laundering donations, unreported income from conference sales, as well as kickbacks and side payments to mods & web site hosts..
