Yesterday two credible economic threats came in against Abadi in retaliation for his potential IQD revaluation announcement at the UN.
Key national assets in Northern Iraq were targeted. We believe the Kurds wanted to sweeten the deal in terms of upping their per gallon oil % for the region.
Classic pull away move between the Arabs.
As a negotiation strategy, Abadi threatened to speak 4 times at the UN today. Classic pump fakes to get them back in line.
As soon as he feels confident things are settled, he will speak we are told. He's still in NYC at his hotel under tight security.
Nothing has changed. The RV does not need his announcement to be released. It needed the USN sign off which came Wednesday morning.
ZIM traded above 3.60+ today.
