September 1, 2017 Mnt Goat News Brief

Hi Everyone,

I bring you much news today.

Baghdad paid the Kurds approximately 80% of their debt on Monday. So what pops out in the news on Wednesday? - Barzani said a postponement to the referendum could be considered if the Iraqi government and the international community guaranteed the results of the referendum would be admitted. Can you see what Barzani was after all along? He was after the 17% of oil revenues owed to the KRG. Did they also get article 140?

More news….

Yesterday 08/31 Iraq's prime minister says Nineveh province has been "fully liberated" from so-called Islamic State, after the district of Tal Afar was recaptured. Haider al-Abadi's announcement followed the defeat of the jihadist group in the town of Ayadiya, where the militants had fled to from Tal Afar. It leaves IS in control of just a few urban areas and some barren desert in central and western Iraq.

So it looks like they still have to go after the militants in the town of Ayadiya. Still not entirely done….

Now the BIG question – will the CBI pull the trigger on the RV now that more SECURITY has been reached? Do they have what they need? Are there other factors still to consider?

Urgent Just In: Millions of leaflets thrown at Hawija in preparation for liberation of Hawija. The Iraqi air force, millions of leaflets on the province of Hawija south-west of the province of Kirkuk, promising the people of salvation and liberation of the gangs terrorist.

This was done in conjunction with the announcement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to liberate the entire province of Nineveh Iraqi air force planes began throwing millions of leaflets in the district of Hawija to announce to the citizens near their salvation from gangs of terrorist. (So they are wasting no time and continuing on to the next objective. This is a much smaller area and should not take much time. We wait and watch what is next. We wait to hear that the “ENTIRE” Iraq is free of ISIS.)

“The Joint Operations Command will identify the safe roads to be allocated to the citizens later,” the statement said.

The joint operations also warned terrorists to lay down their arms and surrender to spare them death. ”

More news….

"After a 13-year hiatus, the Iraqi air carrier Iraqi Airways plans to open regular flights from Baghdad to Moscow from September 2017," said a press release after the meeting of Rosaviation head Aleksandr Neradko with the Iraqi ambassador to Russia Haidar Mansour Hadi.

Flights between Russia and Iraq ceased at the start of the United States military operation against the Saddam Hussein regime. Why is this news so significant? We are seeing one by one Eurpean and now other countries going back to pre-war era flights into Iraq. This is “normalcy’ returning back to Iraq. This is what we want.

BARZANI SAYS KURDS COULD CONSIDER DELAY OF REFERENDUM WITH GUARANTEES

SULAIMANI — Masoud Barzani said a postponement to the referendum could be considered if the Iraqi government and the international community guaranteed the results of the referendum would be admitted.

Barzani said in an interview with Asharq al-Awsat, published on Wednesday (August 30) that this was just an opinion and the High Referendum Council will make the decision on the referendum.

Barzani asked whether the Iraqi government and the international community would admit the results of the referendum if it were postponed to September 25, 2018.

“Such an alternative could be studied if they were ready to give such guarantee,” Barzani added. “Such guarantees should be first from the Iraqi government and the Iraqi parliament, and then with the guarantee of the United States and the international coalition as well as European Union and the United Nations.”

Barzani said regarding the prospect of a majority “No” vote in the referendum that he would respect the will of the people if they rejected the referendum on independence.

The Kurdistan Region declared on June 7 a plan to hold a referendum on the region’s independence this year on September 25. The announcement came following a meeting between the region’s political parties, not including the Change Movement (Gorran) and Kurdistan Islamic Group (KIG).

The referendum has also concerned Iraq, the United States, Britain, Russia, Germany and Turkey as well as Iran.

Haidar Kazem al-Baghdadi
Knowing the size of the country's monetary mass and the methods employed to achieve sustainable development is very important and employs great efforts to implement this matter under the supervision of highly experienced experts and efficiency. (like I said many times, they have the experts involved now and they are going to get this done somehow and Iraq will succeed. When they succeed we succeed in our investment. Get it?)

When we find out the size of the cash mass in Iraq, which exceeds 47 trillion dinars, we find it a very large number and can be done through a local capital cycle that contributes to the creation of industrial development revolution agricultural trade in light of the availability of the elements of success. (I have explained this “capital cycle” to you many times in my news letters. It is the flow of money, the cycle of money. This is simple micro-economics in any capitalistic banking system.)

The whole thing needs to be a real pause by money experts to find ways that can move the mass of cash in homes to the banking system, private and public, and here we must stand seriously when determining the presence of cash in the banking sector and work to address its challenges, especially if we know that the citizen looking about the safe haven of his finances. (Part of this effort too is to get the 3 zero notes out of the homes and into the banks prior to any significant rate increase)

Here we have to be serious about this important matter and create incentives that will bring money to the banking sector. The need is that we work to achieve real integration between the central bank and private banks without exception and find ways to ensure the existence of cash in banks and there is a high flow in the deposit and withdrawal of funds, as well as a law guarantee deposits, which in turn will sow confidence between the parties to the process, the citizen and the banking system. (We see them implementing electronic banking now throughout Iraq. This is one very BIG step in this direction and its working out fine. Banks are getting the funds they need to lend out.)

At the same time, all banks must develop their working mechanisms in a manner that leads to the creation of a sophisticated banking sector that encourages capitalists to choose the best bank among them.

The reality of the work in Iraq in light of the need for liquidity to finance various projects, and overcome the crisis of confidence between depositors and banks because of the decline in the performance of some private banks not to adopt sophisticated systems in the management of depositors' funds.

The country on the threshold of a new stage of work requires the creation of an environment that contributes to the transfer of money from homes to banks, and we know that the beneficiary is looking for safety, and here must be a mechanism to employ the funds guaranteed trends to achieve the benefit of all these parties and thus can support the reality of liquidity and maintain the Capital Cycle in Iraq.

Here we can turn to successful global experiences and employ them in the direction that goes to the financial sector to safety.

Political and parliamentary welcome to the openness of neighboring countries to Iraq

Baghdad /
Muhannad Abdul Wahab

The regional calls expressed in recent days by regional and global neighbors have been greeted by a wider political welcome with more political and economic openness with Iraq. (This is so different than the 8 years of the regime of terror of the Nori al-Maliki administration)

He called on politicians and members of the House of Representatives to support the government in the implementation of its program to open up to all countries of the region and the world to strengthen the status of Iraq’s economic and international, stressing that the reopening of the Trebil crossing gives an important message to defeat the “da’ash” terrorist, stressing the importance of this openness, which will save millions of jobs for Iraqi youth.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Haider Abadi recently received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Affairs of Jordanians Ayman Safadi, Abadi stressed Iraq’s keenness to develop cooperation with the Kingdom in various fields, praising the close cooperation in the face of various challenges, for his part Safadi said, Iraqis in the war on terror, which is a common enemy must unite all efforts to defeat. ”
