Hundreds protest north of Baghdad to demand services and threaten to cut off a major road

Hundreds demonstrated on Wednesday in the Husseiniya area north of Baghdad to demand the provision of services, while threatening to cut off the main road in the event of failure to meet their demands within two days.
A reporter for Alsumaria News in Baghdad, said that hundreds organized, this afternoon, a demonstration in the Husseiniya area north of Baghdad to demand the provision of services of water, electricity and sewage.
He added that the demonstrators threatened to cut off a road linking the northern regions of Baghdad in the event of failure to meet their demands within two days.
It is noteworthy that the capital Baghdad is witnessing almost continuously demonstrations condemning the poor services and demanding accountability of those who fail to do so.
