Tillerson: Washington dropped the issue of lifting sanctions on Iran

It announced that the US administration of President, Donald Trump , it is conducting a review of whether the lifting ofsanctions against Iran is in the US national security interest.
He said US Secretary of State, R. Lex Tillerson , in a letter to the President of the House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, the largest Republican member of Congress, on Tuesday, said that Iran is still committed to the agreement reached in 2015, but pointed out that "there are concerns about its role as a sponsor of terrorism. "
The agreement provides that notify the State Department Congress every 90 days, Iran's commitment to what is known as the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan. This is the first notification of its kind in the era of Trump.
He said Tillerson said in a statement that "the US State Department confirmed the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan today that Iran until April 18 / April implement its obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action".

"The president Donald Trump drew a review carried out by the agencies (government) under the supervision of the National Security Council Comprehensive Plan Joint Action to assess whether the suspension of sanctions against Iran ... will be essential to the national security interests of the United States."
He did not say how much it will take the review, but he pointed out in his letter to Ryan, that the administration looks forward to working with Congress on the issue.
The Trump, has been criticized during his campaign for the presidential elections in 2016, the nuclear deal explicitly, but he expressed conflicting opinions about whether it will try to cancel or modify it , or keep it with more restrictions.
The report noted that , on Tuesday, that while Trump agreed on the findings of the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran is committed to the agreement, it is looking for other ways to increase pressure on Tehran.
Despite the easing of sanctions, Iran is still on the list of the US State Department sponsors of terrorism, and continues to be subject to non - nuclear sanctions, including the violation of human rights and support for the government of Syrian President Bashar al - Assad .
