Egypt has received a billion dollars from the World Bank as a second installment of a $ 3 billion loan to support the government's economic and social program, Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr said.

Nasr said that the second installment of the loan will help stimulate private sector investments, support development projects that will create employment opportunities, promote sustainable and equitable growth, and support the government's community protection program to support the most needy classes and governorates through projects with direct returns.
