we have just been informed by 2 creditable sources in different fields that the RV is live...the team is trying to verify it...we are on top of it and i am sure that this will confirm shortly...WE ARE WAITING TO GET THE POSTED RATES AND HAVE PEOPLE AT THE BANKS LOOKING FOR RATES RIGHT NOW... IF THIS IS IN ERROR WE WILL KNOW SHORTLY.

IN ACTUAL FACT THERE IS TECHNICALLY NO BAN ON INTEL...THERE IS A REQUEST NOT TO PUBLISH INFORMATION THAT IS SENSITIVE TO THE RV. WHAT IS HAPPENING IS VERY SENSITIVE TO THE OVERALL OPERATION. WE THE INTEL PROVIDERS RESPECT THE REQUEST. WE...FEEL A RESPONSIBILITY TO THE OVERALL OPERATION'S SUCCESS. Guru Poppy3:   i really think they will get things done this time and think they are making every effort to do so by moving leadership around and into positions to achieve some movements in directions to futher stablize the goi for the future...no one knows yet what the timing is but i think everyone realizes at this point they are determined to get their country on track for a very successful future.

Guru Adam Montana:   I don't see any specific thing that will force them or entice them to move before or after the Summit. In my opinion, they have to be just about 1000% ready, so it's simply a matter of "loose ends". I have no idea what else could be holding this up, but we have to admit that an RV is no small matter... I prefer that they are being safe and covering all bases, rather than a premature RV and then it blows up before we get to cash in. I am willing to be patient with them in order to get the max return on my investment.

there is literally NOTHING "RV Worthy" to talk about this week. The only thing we have to look forward to at this time is the Arab Summit, and in my opinion the Summit isn't "that" exciting for the RV. Also, Chapter 7 and the HCL...not much news on them, right? Well, it's all intertwined and CONNECTED. They won't release Chapter 7 until they are ready to RV, or immediately after they RV.  Basically, we are at the edge of something happening. Could it go sour? Of course. But I see a lot of stuff going on right now that is actually positive.

Guru Enorrste:   Maliki still wants out from Ch 7, and it does not appear that this will happen prior to June at the earliest.  So the question of the day is: Will Maliki finally compromise and allow the RV to save face, in spite of the fact that he has been withholding it in order to get out from Ch 7?  Time will tell.

We need only see a few key bills passed and Maliki's approval, according to Shabibi, who is already on record that he is "ready" at any time.  Parliament is also on record that they are fervently (can I use that word about Iraqis?) working on over 100 bills and they are already "ready" to be passed. I expect that they will begin slamming these bills through parliament, including the 2 or 3 that Shabibi is looking for.  Then, unfortunately, we will be, once again, awaiting the approval of Maliki.  He will be under great pressure, from Shabibi, Parliament, IMF, etc. to release the new rate. He will also have an incentive to do so, namely the Arab Summit.  Bottom line: Shabibi has set him up. If he fails to act the Summit will be considered a failure. If he acts, he will be considered a hero.  Voila!

Guru Kaperoni:   "...the exchange rate between the new banknotes and the old ones would be 1:1,000.” This is an extremely powerful statement.   This is telling us no LOP or re-denomination is going to happen. Because they are telling you the difference between the “old and new banknotes”.   In order for this to be true, the notes have to be honored at the printed face value. If, for example, a LOP or re-denomination occurred (changing the value), they would state the exchange rate between the new and old notes would be 1:1, meaning they now have the same value or a neutral event. But that is not the case. They are clearly stating 1:1000.  “The objective behind this move is to appreciate the value of the Iraqi dinar against the U.S. dollar..."   Clearly, this statement confirms...that the dinar is appreciating (RV). This is confirmation of the revaluation!

Guru Doc:   The majority of news continues to focus on the things that need to get done for the RV to happen.  Currency laws, HCl, chapter 7, etc. are all reported on almost daily. The tone of the media releases seems to be the same - we (Iraq) need this to happen.  So far we've not seen any updates on activity in Parliament but have to believe with all the media focus the voting has begun.  We are also encouraged that the National Meeting appears to be on again.  We continue to watch Parliament intensely. All is NOT done but the good news is it is being addressed. We can only sit and wait     We continue to maintain the worst case scenario is June.  We report, you decide.

Guru Mailman17:   MALIKIS NOW RUNNING AROUND TO GET THE CONFERENCE BACK ON SCHEDULE AND BEFORE THE SUMMIT ANYONE KNOW WHY?...SAUDI TELLING IRAQ TO GET THERI CRAP TOGETHER BEFORE THE SUMMIT OR ONCE AGAIN EMBARESS THEMSELVES.  SAUDI WANTS TO DEAL WITH A COUNTRY THAT IS ACCEPTED OUTSIDE ITS OWN BORDERS...AND ALTHOUGH DEMOCRATIC, DOES NOT TOLERATE INCOMPETENCE  ON ANY LEVEL.

Guru Blaino:   I hear a lot of rates that simply do NOT sound even remotely credible so I decided NOT to play that game without quality information. It's not honest or fair to bandy these huge numbers around as some do with no solid ground to stand on to support it.
