Trident704 says the MATH Doesn't work for the GURU rates

Post by Ponee on Wed Feb 15, 2017 8:11 pm

The first article link by Walkingstick, commented on by Aggiedad77, proves how ludicrous and out-of-touch with basic economic reality their assumption really is...

The latest bond offering by Iraq is scheduled to pay roughly a shade over two points...

The latest bond offering by the US is scheduled to pay just under two points...

The rumor mill has been rife for years about the IQD supposedly reappearing someday on the international Forex market at 1-1, 2-1, or for the serious Kool-Aid addict, even 3-1...

Now, take any investor of sovereign debt, with just a shred of common sense on this green earth, who would willingly cough up 100, 200, or 300% more capital, to cover a spread of less than two percentage points...?

The math doesn't work.
