I keep seeing people trying to compare this to Kuwait. It is in no way a comparable event. Kuwait was never under sanctions. Kuwait never lost their government. Their banking infrastucture didn't have to change. Once Iraq was out The government returned and the infracture was put back into effect. This is the simple verson but the point is, you can't look to that situation and think it will apply to Iraq's situation.
