Considered by Parliament request to withdraw confidence from the Secretary of Defense

began the House of Representatives on Tuesday to consider a request to withdraw confidence from the Defense Minister Khaled al - Obeidi.
The president of the House of Representatives Saleem al - Jubouri, Tuesday, attempted to complete the interrogation and Defense Minister procedures in accordance with Article 61 of the Constitution and rules of procedure.
Jubouri said, last week, he "received signed by 63 deputies request from the Attorney [interrogator] high Nassif to set a date for the withdrawal of confidence from the Minister defense, will be the demand for the inclusion of the work sessions agenda next week [current]. "
he revealed Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi last week that he had asked the parliament to postpone the launch to withdraw confidence from the Minister of defense.

Parliament fails to withdraw confidence from the Minister of Defense
BAGHDAD / Baghdadi News / .. the House of Representatives rejected on Tuesday a request to postpone the vote on the withdrawal of confidence from Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi.
A reporter / Baghdadi News /, "The House of Representatives rejected during its meeting held today, the request to postpone the vote on the clause to withdraw confidence from Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi."
He added that "the number of deputies who voted for the decision 57 deputies out of 214".
He pointed out, that "the parliament to adjourn the meeting for half an hour after the withdrawal of a number of MPs"

This could not have happened fast enough, but at least it is in the works, and should be voted on and passed in the next few days- :yes:
