mike discusses How Iraq is running from their debts

Article: "Iraq develop a plan to postpone the premiums Paris Club"
It's just another debt they can't pay after agreeing to it in the past.
Iraq will definitely benefit from not having to pay it's bills. These guys are never going to get above a B- credit rating if they don't take care of their debts.
And it's not just the Paris Club, they're also pushing the payments to Kuwait back.

Article quotes: "...the federal court decisions on the legality of the two sessions of Parliament in April are binding and not the degree of appeal.."We hope that the court will issue its final decision on 28 of this month..." ...this is a big article. For those of us in the dinar community, we were following the news that day when the Reform Front tried to hijack Parliament and install their own Speaker and everyone knows they didn't have quorum.
So now we sit and wait and hope that the hardline Shia don't control the Federal Courts, the courts ruling concerning Jabouri's legitimacy will tell us who's running the show in Iraq.
If Jabouri is removed, we know the hard line Shia are still running things, if not, then Abadi's reforms might have a chance.
Article: "Khawla al-Asadi" The new Director of the Rafidain Bank officially takes over"
This is good stuff and long overdue.
Hopefully, Abadi will now turn his eyes to the 1,000 other proxy positions.
If Parliament can't work together to approve Abadi's appointments, he should just start replacing the whole lot and not wait for Parliament to get it's act together.
Article: "No justification to the Federal Court to delay the resolution of the legitimacy of the parliament sessions"
This just blows me away, how are they still trying to figure this out? Parliament was in chaos that day, by all accounts, there was never enough MP's to achieve quorum but here we are, still arguing about it.
Iraq hasn't achieved Parliamentary quorum since April, that's over two months now and if they don't get this deal straightened out by the end of Ramadan, Parliament will continue with the dysfunction.
At some point, Abadi has got to start acting like the PM and get the judicial and legislative branches of his government on track. All you have to do to create political paralysis in Iraq is create a bogus complaint and present it to the crooked judicial system and all progress stops dead in its tracks.
There are many who are opposed to Abadi's plans regarding the reforms and so far, those opposed are winning the battle.
our move Abadi.

Wow everything comes full circle. Who else remembers 4 or 5 years ago when all the gurus were saying when Iraq pays Kuwait back, it will RV.
We will start seeing the PINGING posts again soon I am sure.
