The Admin here and the Mods are dedicated and do their very best to accomadate free speech.. that being said even with the much smaller number here it can be very difficult to control certain topics and peeps. We started out here with very few rules and the unruly came in as always and messed that up... It is stated that a society without rules is a mob... so Hats off to Admin here keeping this as close to free as possible

As Friday morning moves to Friday afternoon and one OM conference call is followed by another, as they continually do, we seem to hear about a plethora of activity coupled with great news with the promise that we are there. Maybe we are or maybe we wait some more. My estimated end remains the 31st. Should that day pass we will revert back to no alert status. While the information coming in has been good we continue to carry on as usual. We seek change that is lasting and meaningful.

Misskitty - I would first ask to see some documentation of the "skeleton trusts"... I think the correct term is Fiduciary Account. Any fiduciary account takes you funds outside of the Retail Banking side - meaning the bank cannot lend your cash out (as in a fractional lending scenario).

Honestly - freezing funds from a lawful currency exchange/redemption is like winning $100mil in a lottery and then you're told that "well really, you can only have $25mil, we will keep the rest for you"... there are specific legal issues with this scenario. Now if these terms were agreed up front when investing, that would be different. I guess the thinking is that this 25/75 applies specifically to high rates accepted via choice and follow-on contract. So, we shall see.
