I just took a peak to see what was happening @ TNT.  Not much was going on other than a few folks taking about hunting.  I had to share a couple of the comments.  I'll sure remember the comment about plants next spring when I grab the top of a carrot and rip it out of the ground.

red: like u I don't discredit or judge how anyone chooses to eat or wear, but yeah man, plants are living things too...so we all decide what we will kill and eat; its nothing to judge each other about, just recognize and respect eachother's decisions; I hear ya loud and clear

Yes, the plants suffer upon killing. Plants do feel pain and have emotions. The largest bones of the largest mammals come from eating plants. And I do eat meat, more carefully-sourced than before. Hear about California chickens? Their square footage is doubling.

sorry, folks , I must leave this conversation, all the talk of hunting etc etc is very upsetting. And I also ws brought up on a farm, and have travelled extensively. But i am against hunting in any form

Red, maybe you should remember that next time you think about 'hunting' for a girlfriend, or that next 'lefthanded' cigarette-

OH GOOD GRIEF !!!   Where is that venison in my freezer?????   And tomorrow I might make chicken fried steak with cream gravy!  Damn that sweet honey ham was good on New Years and I gobbled turkey on Thanksgiving and I home canned and froze all those veggies I grew this last summer and we grew lemon balm tea and I dried it so I would have some all winter!  I thanked God for the blessings of a fruitful harvest and shared what we were blessed with.  I cook not only for my family but also for others and I bet my friends just loved those peanut butter cookies I made today!

TO YOU POOR INNOCENT SENSITIVE NOOB IDIOTS AT TNT.........GROW THE HELL UP & WAKE UP  or you are gonna just starve yourself of EVERYTHING in life!  DON'T FORGET TO GIVE YOUR LAST DOLLARS TO TONY THOUGH SO HE CAN HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND HAPPY NEW YEARS NEXT YEAR AGAIN ON YOUR MONEY AND VACATIONS AND FIXES TO HIS FANCY HOME AND BUY MORE FANCY CIGARS!  AND LAUGH AT YOU ALL THE WAY TO THE FREAKIN BANK!

What about mowing the grass????  Going out there with a mower and beheading all of those innocent blades of grass.  Horrible!!!

Using weedkiller on the weeds is just as bad.  Death by chemicals or beheading?

I am sure glad there is snow out on my yard this week , I was getting worried the grass was going to get freezer burnt and suffer, or as we call it winter killed, OMG horrible thought, now it's freezing to death under all the cold snow. I'm with Meme, time to go to the freezer and find some meat for dinner. This reminds me of a woman I dated once that never wanted to hear where the meat came from, 40 some years old and still thought of meat dropping from trees and the meat counter at the store just wrapped it to cook. I knew then it was time we to move on.
