Why arent the gurus talking about this?

My father in law and I have been watching the iqd move like never before on xe currency. Something is up and yet the gurus have somehow missed this major change. Not saying its a big move but it has never done this and it started the day after we heard they called for the use of the dinar only in Iraq. I have never seen this much real action surrounding the iqd in 7 years. And I mean the actual articles about much needed laws etc.. along with the movement on the currency charts. I dont think its trading but something is making it move. The only guru i saw talk about this was guru backdoc so props to him. For the first time in many years I actually believe we could see it anytime.

Dealers are still selling at the old rate and the numbers at the CBI haven't changed.  That's what I look at, anyway.

Well, if it isn't actually trading then ithe prices is being arbitrarily set by someone or some program.  If it isn't trading and the CBI price is the same and the dealers are selling for the old price, I would say any changes in the XE.com price is meaningless.

Iraqi Dinar History

During British occupation in World War I, the Indian Rupee was introduced as the first official currency of Iraq. In 1932, the Iraqi Dinar replaced the Rupee at a rate of 1 Dinar to 11 Rupees and was pegged to the British Pound until 1959. The peg was then switched to the US Dollar at a rate of 1 IQD to 2.8 USD. After the Gulf War in 1991, previously used Swiss printing technology was not available, resulting in new notes being of lesser quality. The previous versions of the Iraqi Dinar started being called Swiss Dinars. Due to excessive government printing of the new issue, the Dinar devalued quickly. New Dinar coins and notes were issued in 2003 to replace old Saddam notes to create a single unified currency.

In 2010, the Central Bank of Iraq announced their plans to redenominate the Iraqi Dinar to ease cash transactions. The intention would be to drop three zeros from the nominal value of bank notes; but the actual value of the dinar would remain unchanged. Although the announcement stated that the change would take place by the end of 2010, no redenomination took place. As stated by the Central Bank of Iraq, their mandate is to "ensure domestic price stability and foster a stable competitive market based financial system." Folks, there HAS been some movement according to XE, but not in the direction we wanted to see it move. 1166 to 1198 is a loss of value.

Isn't XE.com they site that people were getting excited about last year because it had some rate change??

Probably .... they do show occasional variations in the value, not sure why, but the facts remain the change we have seen is in the category of fractions of a penny, hardly significant, and in the negative direction at that.

its all bs just look at what happened with the budge today?and the hard working  goi takes a months vacation .they never show up anyway its like getting a paid vacation forever. stop wasting your time you will be lucky to see anything until m is out of office
