USA spends $7.5 million per day fighting ISIS terrorists

(IraqiNews.com) US military operations against the so-called Islamic State in Iraq have cost an average of $7.5 million per day, the Pentagon said on Friday, that the department has spent more than $500 million in Iraq since the bombing began in mid-June.

According to the Pentagon spokesman Admiral John Kirby, the expense of US operations against the ISIS in Iraq had varied since US forces became involved on June 16 but on average, it costs about $7.5 million per day including air strikes occurred from Jun 16 until Aug 26, meanwhile a security source in al-Anbar province on Friday, told IraqiNews.com that, US Air Force began bombing in different areas of the city of Ramadi.

Earlier, The US President Barack Obama announced that, he will send the US Secretary of State John Kerry to the region to forge an alliance against the ISIS organization.
