[ltr]Yesterday, State of Law MP Mahmoud al-Hassan disclosed that Premier Maliki sent a letter to President Ma'soum calling him to entrust the candidate of the State of Law Alliance to form the government in his [/ltr]
[ltr]capacity as the biggest bloc that entered the first session of the new parliament.[/ltr]

[ltr]Some sources said that Maliki's Alliance reached to 112 seats, after joining some other blocs to his Alliance.[/ltr]

MP Hassan added that though the State of Law is part of the Shiite National Alliance, but the latter did not submit any request to the parliament to confirm it is the biggest bloc in the parliament, referring that the

parliament did confirm not receiving such request.

He added that the request is the main factor, not verbal alliances.
