How much and how long this will take is not something I concern myself with, as I of course, have no control. The Finance Committee acknowledges certain remaining obstacles while also maintaining it is an absolute necessity at this time, which coincides with the WTO and IMF recommendations. Iraq's dependence on the oil sector and the absence of any diversity in resources has been addressed by economists operating within systematic programs accurately to activate economic sectors agriculture, industry and provide jobs for the labor and increase budget resources. Whether or not they will be successful remains to be seen.

We've seen countless committees highly skilled in the art of procrastination and ineptness. However, lately I am very encouraged by the Erbil terms being addressed and the HCL once again to the forefront of discussion. Perhaps Maliki's opposition efficaciously found an angle where it is in the PMs best interest to play ball. Personally, I'm just hoping for the best...It does appear that slowly but surely, Iraq is making some real progress.
