Where have you been lately?
Where have you been lately?
I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.
I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.
I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.
One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!
I may have been in Continent, but I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing. :eggcolor:

Re: Where have you been lately?
May be a few 'lurkers', but it starts to get busy here, usually later on in the afternoon toward dinner time, Kevin will be here, probably me, and a few others, alot of them don't get here as often anymore, but the ones that are here, well, we manage to have a pretty good time, just wish our 'investment' would fall into place, and from what I'm seeing, it might be around the end of May, and that's the back side of this coming to fruition-Could be longer, if Maliki is not dealt with swiftly, but we all know who's behind Maliki, AND the banks-

Well I could not have said it better than that. I am with you on the timing and time will tell. Yes, Maliki is the problem, I said that over a year ago, but I did not know, until lately, he was run by Iran, which tells the whole story.

We are good here. New England is in full blown mud season now. Trees are tapped, sugar houses in full boil, and car needs a bath almost as soon as it's washed. Looking forward to spring finally arriving. God is in control and He is good!

I do, too, we had all the intel we needed back then, now, it's all b.s, and hash- Isn't it strange, that we appreciate things more when they are absent, than when they are here?

Re: Where have you been lately?
I agree AJ - Maliki IS the problem and IRAN is the puppet master. Time for a change!!
Kevin: I've been in suspended animation over what you will come up with next.
Also I've been knocked down, knocked sideways, dragged out, dragged in, flung out, thrown in, beat up, beat down, kicked, lied to , conned ..... AND would you believe it NO RV? Now if that isn't a downright no good for nothing shame.

Re: Where have you been lately?
Such a nice song. I like the music of yesteryear. Wish we had more of that and less screamin and rap that passes for music that does nothing to lift the soul and spirits.

Re: Where have you been lately?
Gives you an appreciation of how our parents felt about rock 'n roll, doesn't it?
Well, at least MY parents, since I'm a bit older than you are. If my parents were still alive they would be 105 (Dad) and 103 (Mom). I'm the youngest of 8, so my musical tastes in the 60's were pretty foreign to my folks preferences. But, bless them, they instilled in us an appreciation of classical music as well.

Re: Where have you been lately?
Mu folks would be about the same age as yours BEB. BUT, they instead of suggesting classical music to my brother and I (strongly) suggested that we learn to play an instrument i.e.: band type instrument. Sooooo, of course we DID and I will admit it now (not way back then) that in so doing instilled an appreciation of many types of music and the effort it takes to produce same.
Now if I could just learn how to play the IQD ...... . But then again I think there is a vast difference with playing with the IQD and actually putting the process into play to get the IQD to revalue. Of course some of the 'roos have been expounding their gibberish again in re: date and rate (not to mention any by name but one "in the know" seems to be beating the same drum.
The date that is now being bantied around is 4/1 -- they better be right, because if they are wrong and disrupt my wife and my's anniversay I personally will be more than a little ticked off. OH, I forgot, another unexpected delay????? So it goes in Dinarland!
BACK to music. And for out next selection I would suggest "Swingin' School" or "Love Letters In The Sand." And a one, two ..... .

Re: Where have you been lately?
Yeah, Joann Castle and Larry Hooper!!!!
The way this CE is going one would have to look at Hoopers "This Old House" song as being the norm for what we will be living in if this doesn't RV sometime soon. Mercy, and then some.
Of course we could always join Lawrence in a good Polka!!!! Nah, that only should happen when this finally does go.
Happy Easter to all.
