What follows I say with difficulty. I have watched more or less silently for a long time, for do not want to say this, but speak I must. Know these words are written and posted with the utmost love and respect.

Those of you who know me, know that I have been not been reticent in challenging claims made with which I have disagreed, whether they were made by members, gurus or others. Most who know me are also aware that I do not do so blindly, but have done my homework and can give solid reasons for my stance. I do not claim to be perfect, and admit that I can and will make mistakes, It is my prayer that when I do it might be said of me what Jefferson said of George Washington, that I “erred with integrity.”

When I read something, first of all I listen to the Holy Spirit in me and ask Him what He thinks. Then, I ask myself “Does this make sense? Does it appear to have roots of hatred? Do the arguments supporting it conform to the rules of logic? Does it agree with what I know about myself, others, and most importantly, God?” These are somewhat subject to change, as we learn more about ourselves, others, and the world around us, what did not make sense in the past might begin to do so. However, there is one immutable standard which all things must be judged in the light of and that is the inerrant Word of God. If what is said is contrary to the Word in any way, I reject it as error.

I reject the Prosperity Package scenario. Why? Well I did some investigating. Every PP scenario I have seen has been tied to a St. Germain. I went digging to find out who this shadowy person might be, I found a number of Saint Germains, but only one from the appropriate time period to fit the scenario. I dug a little deeper and found claims that he was the reincarnation of some other wonder-dude. Well that’s a Hindu thing, not a Christian, so it’s concerning. Dug a little more and discovered he is an ascended master? Huh? Now the bells are ringing a little louder. Next I find that people contact him through channeling. OK, I don’t need to go any further, now we are talking necromancy and all forms of witchcraft are strictly prohibited by God’s law.

Take another example, NESARA. You don’t have to look at many of the posts to find someone railing against the evil Zionist bankers. OK that is anti-Semitism, and definitely is rooted in hate. Further, God promised to Abraham “I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you. This is one guy who’s not going anywhere near that. After all I may have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night. I have not even mentioned all the channeling, dark planets, cats, rats and dragons. So NESARA fails the common sense test, the hatred test, The Bible test, I am not going there.

On a related note, many have been trying to make something out of various meteors seen in the recent weeks. Folks, this is nothing unusual, in fact, the daily count is in the thousands, with over 100 tons of extraterrestrial material falling to earth each day. Even the meteor over Chelyabinsk was not unusual in size or intensity of the blast. The only thing unusual was the fact that this one actually occurred over inhabited land. Since our surface is roughly 70% water, and much of the land is sparsely inhabited it should be no surprise that most go unnoticed.

What about the ITTCS stories? OK, let me get this straight, we have decisions being handed down from a court with no legal standing, and no recognition nationally or internationally, and they wonder why no one is paying attention? Folks, this just flat out fails the common sense test. You can not gather a bunch of people together, proclaim “we are a court,” issue a bunch of edicts and expect people to pay any attention to them. Just not going to happen.

In truth, most of the “alternative” stuff is of a nature that no one who is a professing Christian should be going anywhere near. It is deception, new age falsehoods birthed of satanic inspiration. There is nothing good in it. I know those are strong words, but they are truth, based upon foundational truths of both the Christian and Jewish faiths, and not subject to compromise. At the same time, please know my heart, I am not condemning anyone, rather I am sounding an alarm. Jesus warned that deception would come of such strength as to deceive even the elect. We are also warned that satan and his demons can and will masquerade as angels of light. This is why were are told by Paul to put on the whole armor of God, that we may hold our place steady and unwavering in the face of the methodia: cunning arts, deceit, craft and trickery of satan. Every day let us armor up, wrapping ourselves in truth, protecting our hearts with righteousness, placing the Gospel upon our feet that we might walk in peace, protecting our minds with salvation, and taking up the shield of faith and the sword of God’s Holy Word. Then we will be able to stand, stand in truth, stand upon God’s Word and His promises to us. Oh the enemy will still attack, but we will stand, and the gates of heck will not prevail.

So then this is where I stand, and this is where I must stand. I love you guys too much to stand by silently in the face of deception. Some of you will not like what I have said, but so be it. I speak in love, and to the best of my ability, I speak truth. I pray you receive it in the spirit in which it has been written. Be blessed.

Kevin, I've done my research also and I agree wholeheartedly. So much "intel" is Nesara based. There are many good Christian (and I mean that sincerely) people in this investment. I don't think they know how dangerous this is. For instance, I read Bulldog75 postings and they come from Nesara. Do you think the OOM folks realize this? Cleverly disguised deception.

I'm not wanting to pick a fight with anyone, but this has been on my mind for a while. I've read about 'One Peoples Public Trust', Sovereign Citizen Movement and it just doesn't work.

I don't want to pick a fight or offend anyone, just had to throw in my 2 cents.....for what it's worth.

I believe that much of what is being taught/said in these things is nothing more than good old fashioned gnosticism dressed up in modern trappings. Paul was none to keen on Gnostic teaching back then, and I imagine he would not be now.

I couldn't find a good definition of gnosticism or gnostic online, meaning, I could understand it. Doesn't the root of the word gnostic mean "to know" or "to know intuitively"? What's wrong with that?

aim88: From Webster's Dictionary --
gnosticism - the thought and practice especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis.

gnosis - esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth held by the ancient Gnostics to be essential to salvation.

People are entitled to their beliefs. But I have to say I agree with Kevin and appreciate the reasoned and impassioned argument he puts forth. I am not nearly so educated. I should be, but freely admit I am not. One thing I have noticed my entire adult life is that evil is nearly always presented in a very appealing and seductive package. Usually we are told that not to go along makes us foolish, or even worse...we will be considered out of step with the times, uncool. Can anything in our current hedonistic society be considered worse than to be "uncool"? To hold to one's values, "clinging to our Bibles and our guns" as one politician said not so long ago, is not to be sneered at. But rather it should be admired. This is one woman's opinion, but I believe it is more important than at any other time in history for us to stand up for God. The forces of evil are gathering in a way that is unprecedented in our history. Don't be afraid, but do be strong. Thanks for listening.

The pursuit of knowledge is not a bad thing. Gnosticism however is a somewhat generic term for a number of false theologies. In general, they all offer salvation from the oppressive bonds of material existence through gnōsis, or “knowledge.” Such knowledge consisted of privileged, esoteric understanding of the relationship between one’s true spiritual self and the transcendent source of all being. Typically, this knowledge could only be conveyed to humans by a revealer figure.

This is of course a very clear contradiction of basic christian theology as salvation is only found through grace, and is available in Christ alone, never of works.

Darn, this is the 3rd time to try to post this, but it keeps disappearing. I guess I'm not supposed to post the long version, lol.

Short version: I agree, stand by your convictions, your understanding of truth. I will add: Do no harm while doing so. There has been so much evil done by the church in the name of the God in the past, while clinging to the Bible and the gun. I hope we learned and do not repeat that.

Any discussion that makes me get out my Bible and the dictionary is good!

True Aim, but if you study the history of those times when harm was done, you will invariably find that the works and knowledge of man had replaced the inspiration and knowledge of God. In reality they had very little, if anything, to do with the Bible or with true Christian Faith.

That's not far from what I'm saying too, aim88. Evil's most effective trick is to hide behind a facade of goodness. Nearly anything can be corrupted if it is taken over by corrupt people. "The Church", and churches in general, have many times been involved in unjust wars as well as personal violations against defenseless people. But let's not forget the huge amount of wickedness that has been directed at mankind (and our churches) by the Godless. All things considered, I would rather we align ourselves with the truths taught in the Bible rather than muddle around in a moral swamp. We only have to look at what passes for entertainment today to realize how far we have strayed as a society. Again, this is my opinion, and I don't mean it as a criticism of anything you said in this thread.

True, of course at times the true church has been falsely accused/blamed. Take for example, the infamous witch trials in Massachusetts. A big deal is made of them, and people point to as an example of the evils of the church. Make no mistake, it was evil, but you will rarely, if ever hear the rest of the story. You see the trials came over here from Europe. A total of 28 people were tried and executed in Massachusetts. The trials were stopped after just a few months when the clergy went to the governor and pointed out that they were unbiblical and violated a person's rights to due process. That's right it was the church that stopped it, but you won't find that in the history books. BTW the trials went on for several more years in Europe and thousands were tortured and executed.

I know, SEB. I didn't take it that way. But I wasn't talking about the past. I was talking about here and now. I thought this thread was getting too narrow minded and judgmental, so I was just cautioning us to not go there. Religion can be corrupted by the narrow, misinterpretation and application of truths in holy scripture and used to beat people over the head, and that is what I saw happening here, so I had to say something for balance. You made a good point about the Godless. I agree with you.

Is it? I thought I was responding to SEB's observations. I will perhaps reply to your previous statement when I get home. I will only observe for now that some things can only be rightly interpreted narrowly. For instance God said, (roughly) "I am the Lord your God, you shall have no other gods before me." Not a lot of wiggle room there, the only valid interpretation is pretty darn narrow. Some things are and will be absolutes, some are not. Yes, harm has been done through narrow interpretation of scripture and other things, but much harm has been done through overly broad interpretation as well.

For example an overly broad interpretation of the American Bill of Rights, could allow a number of actions that would cause a great deal of harm, while a narrow interpretation would provide protection. Where there is an absolute, we must draw a hard line in the sand, but where there is not, we must allow for the differences.

I agree, Kevin. But you don't have to be hard-headed while drawing that hard line. You made your point, but you keep beating the dead horse. We are off topic. We should let HWG tell us what he knows and you can tell us what you know, and if you don't agree you don't have to say it 5 times and thump the Bible while doing it. We all heard you the first time.

Yes, you researched and didn't find anything to satisfy you, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have some information that you are not privvy to. I want him to feel welcome to come here and not get slammed. If it doesn't fit your beliefs you shut it down. What he shared may be on topic for the RV. But then you go down roads of necro-something, witch hunts, etc. and I think it's way over the line. That's my point.

I love you, man, for what you stand for, but sometimes you beat people over the head with it. I'm not going to argue religion with you, it doesn't further this thread, and it doesn't win hearts for Christ. You might try a little love and compassion (for the, in your opinion, uninformed or un-Christian) instead.

FYI, your stubborness and closed mind are the boring parts, not your taking a stand. I love that you stand up for your beliefs. But you are so left-brained you have no feeling side. Where is your humanity? Everything is not black and white.

I'm done talking about it.

Kevind53, I think alot of you and I think you know that, and if you don't, you should, BUT- I have to agree with Aim88 on this one, and my reasons for saying this match what she has just spoken to you about- I just wish you were more open minded, and thought about other peeps feelings that get hurt, like thinking about what you're going to say, before you say it, and the force behind it- You are very abrasive at times, and has gotten worse recently and sometimes when this shite happens, I don't even want to be here, and nobody should be made to feel that way-It is like your thoughts and ideals matter, and to h-e-l-l- with what we think or have to say-There are others here that MAY think along the lines of our way of thinking, but may be too meek to state their real feelings without the worry of being retaliated against,or chastised for what they say, and this is what I see, and it's not a pretty scenario, but, I'm going to stop right there, as If I keep going, I WILL say things I will regret, {and maybe not}, but I have said my piece, and I apologize for speaking my mind also, but it needed to be done, and I am sorry it had to come to that-Also, to the rest of you, I hope I have not offended you, but if by chance that thought has run across your minds, for that, I am truly sorry-We should be looked at straight in the eyes, not looked down at because of our beliefs-

Post by Kevind53 Tue Mar 26, 2013 5:01 pm

Umm guys ... that is why this is here and not in HWG's thread, I started a new topic because I did not want to give any impression I was attacking him personally. Note the title ... Why I Stand Where I Do, not Prosperity Packages. The whole idea was to set out some fundamental rules I use in discerning good from not so good in this crazy dinar world, along with some examples. So in that sense everyhing I said here has been on topic.

As to open mindedness, I have a more open mind than most realize, I am always willing to try new things, with the proviso that they do not cross the bounds or morality or more importantly are not contrary to the Word of God and the basic tenets of faith. Just as an example, my wife and I are very avid users of essential oils and natural medicine. Why? Because it works, plain and simple. Certain things in the alternative medicine world we will not do because they cross over one or more of the aforementioned lines. Others we don't do because they do not measure up to one of the rules in the original post. Take diets, have you ever browsed the diet section of a bookstore, there are dozens of them and each one says all the others are wrong. We've looked and rejected, looked and rejected and finally found something that works for us through trial and error and plain old common sense.

I am, by nature, a teacher and engineer. I look at how things work, tear them apart analyze and tinker with them, that's my nature. I also tend to see things in black or white, that's the way God made me and I am comfortable with that. Really with all of this stuff it is black and white, it's either true or not, real or fake, the dinar will not sort of RV it will RV or not RV.
