Someone sent me this today. Do you think it's real?

Here is an unexpected result of the flooding from Hurricane Sandy.

No, it's fake. Read a Snopes website that showed real vs fake photos. Wish people wouldn't waste our time posting fakes. There's enough real problems already.

Well for a fake, it is some AWESOME photoshopping! Kudos to the expertise... Actually this is not a new photo but has been around. Someone just thought to use it for this event.

Though this photo is fake, the idea is rather intriguing.... I mean really, what was to keep the marine life from being deposited with all that water coming from the oceans? Is it really that unlikely?

Ponder this, guys: There are more rats in the NY metropolitan area than people. Rats are excellent swimmers. Who knows how many rats may have been displaced from subway stations, tunnels, etc by the flooding? What kinds of diseases may be lurking now, carried by rats and backed up sewage? Sorry to be negative, but I fear the misery is long from over in the northeast.

If they hadn't postponed the marathon I think there would have been potential for real civil unrest. Bloomberg's ignorance of human nature is astounding. The no-soda-over-16-oz thing was one of the stupidest ordinances ever!
