SATURDAY MORNING...

Post  Horizon on Sat Aug 04, 2012 2:47 pm

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING TO ALL OF MY DDD FAMILY!!!! JUST STOPPED IN TO SAY HELLO AND I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY....COFFEE TIME!!!

I need some coffee, late night, we went to Philidelphia MS to see Trace Adkins last night at the Neshoba County Fair....3 hour drive....I got to meet him...whoo hoo! He wanted to meet the crew and families of the Deep Water Horizon....They used his song "Missin You" to make the Memorial video, and he sent a video to the Memorial for the 11 because he couldn't be there, but he had been wanting to meet in person. Really nice!

I hope you all have a Wonderful Day!!!! I have to clean house...uhhhhh!

[size=24]Horizon, that's so sweet of Trace Adkins and so cool you got to meet him in person. I think of you every time I hear of the Horizon in the news. There are a lot of people who still send love and prayers to all those who perished and their families every time we think of it. Love and (((hugs))) to you and yours!!

I hope you all have a Wonderful Day!!!! I have to clean house...uhhhhh!

No way have I forgotten either of you, Terbo and Horizon!!

I'm well, business is really good, I've been decluttering, cleaning, making wish lists, etc., making room for happy financial surprises. I spend less time focusing on the elusive and more on my clients and family and friends, not to mention my 3 little kitties.

As my 5' 1/4" mother used to say, when people commented on her short stature: "Well, my feet reach the ground!" (My dad was 6'2".)

And my boss's father was from Armenia, escaped the genocide, and was only 4'10". He said, "Where I come from a man is measured from the neck up."

So there you go. From one 5'2" gal to another, you're plenty tall. By the way, You and your husband look sweet, and Trace Adkins is a very classy guy, too.

Thanks Seebie....I'd rather be shorter than my husband anyway! Trace Adkins is a great person. It was so hot that afternoon, I really don't look my best, for sure! I know it was pushing 100 deg, and the humidity here is really bad. As you can see in the pic, my husband was a little sweaty, his shirt was wet sweat!

Go Short People!!!!! Razz

Must have been an animated sermon, Kevin. Hellfire and brimstone?

Well I paced around a lot ... but no brimstone, not my style. I much rather focus on the Love of God and woo them into the Kingdom than try to scare them into the Kingdom. It was about hot enough to be hellfire to this Yankee boy though....we don't get many days pushing 90.
