Wow, Kev, I thought I was the only person on the planet who remembers Sky King. Loved that show.

Also, when I was about 3 or 4 the Cisco Kid did a promotional tour. For some reason he was at our local Woolworth's store. My Mom took my next older brother and me to meet him, and I remember he picked me up and told me what a cute little girl I was. Needless to say, he was my absolute favorite cowboy hero ever after!

Hey, Sky King came on on Saturday morning right after Rin Tin Tin, and before Spin and Marty. That twin engine low wing plane never missed a landing in all the episodes I watched - come to think of it, it was the SAME landing - go figure!!!! BUT I never missed it - EVER. Of course, Howdy Doody, The Lone Ranger, and Gene Autry were in the mix to fill out a Saturday morning. Then it was off to town and the Saturday Matinee at the movie house - Audie Murphy, War movies, Shoot em ups, and of course the ever present cartoon before the movie - Bugs, Wylie, Daffy and Donald Duck, ..... . Oh, I forgot, the NEWSREEL - how could I forget that!!!

Nah, don't think I want to go back there - just remembering the GOOD parts is adequate for me. NO way would I go through high school again. NO SIR, huh uh, forget it. But I would like to see the Drive Ins come back! affraid Embarassed Twisted Evil
