press reported the Wall Street Journal, Saturday, that the United States of America and has developed a plan to protect its embassy in Baghdad targeting "hard-line militias loyal to Tehran," noting that the targeting of the embassy will be a reaction to the Israeli military strike direction of Iran.


The journalist in a news item that "the U.S. government is concerned about the preparation of Israel for military action against Iran, despite objections from Washington, and developed a plan to protect their positions in the region," indicating that "the U.S. President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and other senior officials passed private messages to Israelis to warn them of such an action.

The newspaper pointed out that "Obama's Call Thursday (last) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while he will meet Gen. Nartin Dempsey, the top U.S. military commander, military Israelis in Tel Aviv next week," pointing out that "the U.S. military is preparing for the possibility of Iranian retaliation in various forms on the Israeli raid, including the possibility of targeting the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad by militias, militant pro-Tehran. He said Iraq's desire to build relations of friendship and cooperation with all countries, especially neighboring countries, but on the basis of mutual respect and non-interference in domestic affairs.

The statement that the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. William Burns, for his part stressed that the United States wanted to complete the construction phase of the foundations of the strategic relations between the two countries, which will include aspects of economic and trade cooperation, energy, education, and expressed his country's desire to activate the role of Iraq's regional support opportunities for security and stability in the region and non-interference in domestic affairs.


On the other hand was the commander of U.S. Central Command, Gen. James Mattis, the U.S. is ready to equip the Iraqi army and security agencies with the necessary devices and techniques to enhance their capacity in the face of terrorism and security challenges, different, explaining that he would discuss with Iraqi officials, details the requirements and the means provided to Iraqi security forces.
