After RV, Living partially off the grid
This is a revived post from a while back and thought I would bring the subject up again to see...
Hey everyone. After Tony's comments this morning I thought I would bring this post out of the archives to see where it goes from here.
I have not changed my positition on living "Partially communially" and as off the grid as possible.
I would still like to find (in a very select area) about 500 acres to locate quite a few people to help each other, while we help out others as well. We could grow and maintain most of our own food supplies and generate most of our own energy (electricity) Maintain our own water and so on. Still wondering if there might be some or more interest. I believe with the events about to (possibly) happen in this country and most of the rest of the world this is an idea who's time has come...thank you and love each other and yourself...rick152
Here is a copy of Tony's comment
TONY STATES - Absolutely ... a totally different ball game… There are other players not initially involved in the decisions today ... good plan now has changed…. I think the good guys are always winning and we take out the bad guys to...constantly replacing....also after the RV - we still do need to prepare more ... be ready to help our families and communities…. You must be ready more so after the RV. Those OCCUPY movements of Walls Street, Calif, & Philly – its going to get bigger so others will need us to help people more…you see it more and more In the news commentators say it – IT’S THE HAVES and HAVE NOT –we can fix that as long as we are willing to share with our families and friends… we as a group can help fix that if we can.....let’s do that… Be conscious of the gift we've been given.
Good morning everyone. I have been considering, for some time now, after RV how would I live.
I for one will not be able to just sit under a umbrella with a drink in my hand. I will stay busy. I intend to put a substancial amoumt into a trust set asdie for philanthropic endeavors, (something I have always wished to do). Purchase a couple businesses or rental properties to maintain and grow net worth, and a few other things.
One Idea I have been kicking around has been to obtain a large tract of land in a low tax, good climate, and more free than CA state. On this tract I was thinking about setting up a sort of communial living enviroment. Where we would partially grow our own food, and so forth.
What I imagine this could look like would be, some residents work on the property some outside and contribute monies, still others a little of both. There might be some solar. wind and generator power supplies. Some animals for food alnog with the greenhouse food grown on site. Pretty much off, if not completely off the grid where we set up our own security and so forth. Basically for us working stiffs it will be pretty hard to just lie around and do nothing but we would be safe and away from the rest of the turmoil of the rest of the world. We still could be involved with our political and religious ewndeavors with the benefit of having our own freedoms and maintaing them. Kind of like control for us.
Anyway just throwing this up for consideration and comment to see what you think. If you have any other ideas please feel free to add to this posting and lets see where it goes. Thank you and love each other and yourself...rick152

Re: After RV, Living partially off the grid
Dear rick152,
I work in a poverty area - generational poverty. I want to set up a green house large enough to feed the entire school district with non-gmo foods. I want to educate all the kids and their families on what gmo's do to you physically, emotionally...and I'm sure...spiritually.
I want to continue to teach at-risk youth. Pay off our debts, help our families out. And put together a non-profit to assist abused teens and women and assist single-parent families. There is so much I want to give back....
Thank you for your post. This is where I'm at personally. xoxo Whoopi

Hi, Rick 152! Like your idea and was thinking along the same lines as well with a couple of friends also invested. Would love a farm/community but still thinking about locales.
Good post and was unaware of Tony's comments, although have seen this on the various sites for months now.

Whoopi these and other things that we have on our agenda could also be accomplished and still have a place to "seperate" ourselves when we go home for the evening. I personally want to (along with living off the grid) invest proceeds from RV to form my own philanthropic endeavors to aid as many as possible in many many ways. You have a great attitude about your works to come. thanks for your post...rick152

I Plan to use my Dinar money on creating wealth and prosperity around me by helping business start ups via financial education and funding. Small business creates jobs so this is the area I would like to pursue.

Re: After RV, Living partially off the grid
Astrocash. I agree with you. I have a small business and not sure what I'll do after the RV but I have always helped people and I think I will continue to maintain my business to assist in my own little way. I think not matter how much money I have, I will help for the rest of my life.

Re: After RV, Living partially off the grid
Good evening everyone, With it looking like we are very close to RV I thought I would bring this back again, to say anyone who is truly interested in this type of possibility, please send me a IM with a good e-mail address along what types of special abilities / specialities you would be offering to the group. I will NOT share any e-mail addresses.
About 2 weeks after RV I will not retain my current e-mail. But will need to avial myself to contact you. I will (within a week) contact you with a way to contact back and forth with me. I/ we will be able to share ideas and abilities / specialities in which to aid our cause. Thank you and have a great night ...rick152

Catherine, rick made an assumptive close showing his faith in RV, yours was the exclamation of same!!
Perhaps we each can consider ways to manifest com-unity(s) establishing living examples of using energy and food independence that embody optimal health principles for the benefit of We The People and our earth. Optimal health involves spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, financial, family, friends, business and other aspects; our talents, gifts, experience, intentions, causes that are important to us will all shape our onward and upward Life journey. Perhaps we can establish smaller land areas within or close to our existing communities that can influence and help many we already have hearts for; joining together with other like-minded folks of diverse talents, experience and ages with each wanting to contribute to the optimal health of others creates a haven (heaven) for family, friends, spheres of influence and examples outstanding possibilities for others to emulate, aspire to and participate in as we all learn and grow together. WE can indeed each change our world in practical, real-life manners, as each is called and empowered. Looking forward to watching the myriad ways and manners this will happen, a true wonder to behold and participate in…

Anywhere in south america can get crazy at the drop of a hat. Just look at the countries around Belieze and think again. Canada=no national debt and a language you can relate to.

Re: After RV, Living partially off the grid
Yes, but in some ways Canada seems further down the anti-Christian, socialist road than the US, at least from what I can see. Their financial situation may be better, but that is not by any means the only consideration. JMO.
There are lots of place I could think of to go, however, in the end, we will go, or stay, where God calls us. Anything else is a waste.

The only real problem I see in "out of America" is you are out of America and rights change dramatically. If I HAD to pick in this hemisphere probably either Belieze or Bahamas. ...rick152

Stark7 That is very funny! I have been asked that. Sorry, no we will not be reverting to the sixties. LOL More like several homes on a large piece of ground, working together in common endeavors along with each having entirely seperate lives. Working together to make ALL of our lives better more comfortable and productive as a group. Paring efforts and ideas. ...rick152

Re: After RV, Living partially off the grid
Rick152;
I will be operating a cow-calf operation, probably Brangus cattle, post RV. My brother and I will also be buying and selling some horses. Buy 'em cheap, ride 'em out, teach 'em about cows, sell top grade good quality cowhorses. We will be based in Oklahoma. Wanna discuss trading some wholesome grown veggies and other products for some real nice beef cattle and/or good riding horses? Depending on where this compound is going to be, it could be feasible for a little transporting to be done.
Also, we have some pretty mild winters and usually some great summers here in Oklahoma. No personal property taxes, either. Land prices are pretty good right now. And some BIG parcels are available at a reasonable price-per-acre. I would be happy to help in the land search. PM me if you're interested.
