Also, who and where did Cain find a wife, he slew his brother and only he and Adam and Eve were on the planet. No clear explanation is offered biblically. If one continues with this line of thought... who did Adam and Eve's children marry if not each other? Don't ask me, I'm the one asking.

Very clever, Alchemist. You are asking, but you already know the answer. Perhaps the answer is in one of the books of Adam and Eve that were purposely eliminated from the King James bible that so many "believers" consider the complete inspired work of God. The bible may very well be the inspired word of God, but the men who compiled it certainly didn't include the whole story, did they? Why are there are so many different versions of the bible? Why are there books in the Catholic bible that are not in the King James bible? My spiritual mother gave me a Catholic bible one day and I couldn't believe my eyes. I had never heard of some of the books that were in that bible. Why are there "lost" books of the bible that really are not lost at all? For example, Joshua 10:12 and 2 Samuel 1:17 mention the book of Jasher, yet that book is conveniently missing from our bible.

My husband has a close friend from the Air Force who became a Catholic priest. After years of serving as a man of the cloth, he denounced his priesthood because he could no longer deny the truths that he learned about religion. He has the complete bible, with books that include herbal cures for every disease, supernatural works, and teleportation, just to name a few. Yeshua said that man would perform greater works than he, yet the books that explain the science of how he performed these miracles have been eliminated from the bible. Archaeologists have found sites where human bones and tools that could not have been created by animals pre-date the Genesis Adam & Eve story, yet we still insist that the Adam & Eve of Genesis were the first man and woman here. Why would anyone reject science when everything that Yah creates is rooted in science? The earth has gone through evolutions that we ignore, yet hide behind religion and berate the thinkers. Go figure.

I hope that my response to you was not taken offensively, because it was not intended to be in any way. Based on other posts from you, my perception is that you are very enlightened. It is my contention that the answers to the questions we pose are within us - one thought, one inspiration, one "download" away. Thought is energy and once we release that energy, it will come back to us. A very learned man under whom I studied history of Native Americans used to say to me repeatedly, "Backwards through the ages masterminds can trace themselves and thus they know." Have you ever just known something without having been told or having studied it? We are powerful beings and I know that we can't fully explore this subject in this forum, but I feel that through meditation, connection to our ancestors (our angels), and divine inspiration, the answers that are within us will be revealed.
